10 Important Things 1. Playing trains with my nephews when I get home from work.
2. Getting a funny text from Danielle.
3. The laughter of my family while we are sitting around the table during holidays.
4. The noise of the red white and blue flapping against the blue skies.
5. Not being able to catch my breath from laughing so hard.
6. Driving around acting stupid until everyone has to go home.
7. The slap of the mat when the wrestler wins.
8. Laying out in the sun until I get to hot.
9. Making my cheese quesadilla and eating it all gone.
10. Just coming to school being happy because I get to see all of my friends.

Michaela is a friend through thick and thin
She always knows just what to say to me
She always knows the words to make me grin
We get along but don’t always agree
We have so many late night memories
Of driving from one city to the next
And there have been a few apologies
So when we are apart we always text
Next summer we will graduate at last
And we will forever be far apart
Everything we had will be in the past
Together we will hopefully depart
We will be friends forever and a day
